I finished my latest wedding photos tonight! I took time out for The Vampire Diaries of course, but they’re done and I can’t wait to share them. So exciting! Now who wants to talk about Silas taking over the whole town and that whole thing with Matt? Oh and the strange happenings at Whitmore. Bonnie should find a way to unghost herself so she can be the third roommate. This is going to be a great season!
My cousin got married this afternoon ina gorgeous wedding. The food was good, the drinks were good and the music was good. I’d call that a win-win. And his new bride was absolutely gorgeous and is such a wonderful, fun addition to the family. Congratulations Anthony and Laura. May you have many, many years of happiness.
It only took a little more than two years, but I finally designed my wedding album. I had been.meaning to do it for awhile, but it’s one of those things that can easily be pushed to the back burner. I uploaded all of the pictures last week and designed it using Snapfish. I then order it and it came today. I kind of love it. It’s nice to have something to.look back at to remember your wedding day. And our photographer did such a good job of capturing everything, both big and small. Now I’m going to begin albums for our honeymoon and all of our vacations. I think I may be hooked.
Yesterday we went to Otani to celebrate Ron’s brother Rhen’s birthday. His birthday actually isn’t until the end of the month, but he was home from college this past week and won’t be here for his birthday. Today, Rhen and his girlfriend, Erin, went back to college after Spring Break so he got his birthday card early. I created it using a picture from Ron and I’s wedding. I love the picture, it’s one of my favorites and I like the idea of making cards using photos. So happy almost birthday Rhen!
After work, I went to visit my parents. While there, Mom reminded me of my wedding cake in the freezer, a cake I had completely forgotten about. I know it’s tradition to eat the top layer of your wedding cake on your anniversary, but we’ll be on a ship. Also, I’m a big fan of the seven day rule and a year old cake completely goes against that. On the other hand, I would say I’m superstitious and what if I’m tempting fate by not eating the cake? I decided to take to the net and see if other people eat their year-old cakes. Apparently, they do and the general consensus is, they all taste terrible. Our cake was amazing on our wedding, but a year later I wonder if the funfetti colors have faded? Did the cake survive? I’m too scared to find out, so I shoved it in the freezer until we decide what to do. To eat or not to eat, that is the question. What did you do?
It was a busy day today. Chelsea’s son Cecil celebrated his first birthday this afternoon and then Kat and Jack got married this evening in Richmond. Congratulations to everyone on their big events! Wishing you all the best!
