I finally decorated for Halloween! With my crazy schedule I hadn’t had time to clean so I could decorate. I hate decorating without cleaning so when Ron had a work function tonight I used that time to get stuff done. Now everything is nice, clean and spooky.
While I was hard at work finishing up a wedding, Buddy flopped himself under my desk and looked so pitiful. You could tell he was begging for attention, so during the far too long time it took for everything to upload, I flopped in thr floor with him and watched random tv shows. Although I have to say I can see Witches of East End becoming a new favorite of mine. It’s pretty intriguing and ended on a cliffhanger which definitely makes me want to watch again next week. Tricky.
Ron and I went to the state fair this morning to check out my photos. I entered five photos in various categories and won on two–a first and a third. I was excited just to make it on the board since the rules said if they got too many any extras wouldn’t be displayed. After checking out the photos and other craft entries, we checked out all the animals, stopped by the exhibits and played a couple games. Check out my new giraffe. I like the fair but we picked such a hot day to go. It should not be 90 degrees at the state fair in October. Poor animals.
Tonight I shot the Homecoming parade and football game for work. I’ve shot parades before, but I never really get the chance to shoot football. I really liked it. There’s something fun about being on the sidelines snapping away. Granted I almost got taken out twice, but I managed to jump out of the way in time. The players come flying in and you have to decide to take the shot or save yourself. I did more of a snap and run. Get the photo but don’t risk breaking anything. And I actually found out that I’m pretty good at football photography. Who knew? I know what I’m giving you here is a photo of a photo but the idea of plugging my camera in was too much to deal with. I’ll save that for when I get back to work on Monday. I’m glad I ended up with this assignment since it’s out of my usual realm. I enjoy trying new things and challenging myself photographically. I always learn something new that I didn’t know before.
I finished my latest wedding photos tonight! I took time out for The Vampire Diaries of course, but they’re done and I can’t wait to share them. So exciting! Now who wants to talk about Silas taking over the whole town and that whole thing with Matt? Oh and the strange happenings at Whitmore. Bonnie should find a way to unghost herself so she can be the third roommate. This is going to be a great season!
