After church this morning, Ron and I headed to D.C. We spent a few hours at the zoo checking out the animals and then headed to the cherry blossoms. Becausw of the late winter weather, the trees haven’t quite hit their stride yet. A few have bloomed and some have turned pink, but they still have a ways to go. With forecasts expected to be in the 70s, they’ll probably break out in the next few days. They were still gorgeous though and the zoo was awesome. I finally got to check out the American Trail which opened last year after we had already gone. I’m a big fan of the sea lions and seals and the trail is their new home. All in all we had a great day that we’re so thankful for. The weather was great, traffic wasn’t bad and we had a lot of fun. Blessed.
