Well, the Superbowl, or BlackOut Bowl, is over and I have a new favorite commercial. Hands down, the Budweiser Clydesdale commercial was the best of the night. I’ve always loved the song, plus animals get me every time. You can view the commercial here. It reminds me of the documentary about the people who raise the lion. When it gets too big for their apartment, they release it into the wild. Later, they go back to check out the lion and see if it has adjusted and the lion remembers them. He runs to them and hugs them. It’s completely amazing and so beautiful. It really shows how “human” animals are and this commercial does the same thing. Not something you’d expect from a beer company that easily could have chosen sexy girls at a party (ie. their Black Crown commercials) over a real story. Kudos Budweiser. Nicely done.
