Ron and I went to the inaugural Edible Food Fest today. It was pretty great. We sampled different drinks and cheeses, learned about various “green” practices and watched cooking demonstrations. We also got to see Joel Salatin speak, which I was probably more excited about than Ron. I’m a huge fan of Food, Inc. which Joel appears in and Ron hasn’t watched it, even though I own the DVD. There was tons of food there, made from locally grown and produced goods. I bought some amazing grape juice made from sustainable grapes and gummy bears. It was a great event with tons of attendees. I’m already looking forward to next year!
