The Salvation Army Angel Trees are up. Please go adopt an angel. Participants choose an angel and fulfill their Christmas wishes by purchasing age appropriate clothing and toys. Those gifts are then labeled with the angel’s code and dropped off a few weeks before Christmas. They’ll then be collected and delivered to angels in time for the holidays. Christmas isn’t about making wish lists and worrying about what you’ll get. It’s about helping those who are less fortunate and using your gifts to give to others. God gave us so much and we should be willing to give to others. Ron and I picked out our angel today. We’ve been adopting angels, sometimes one and sometimes a few, every year for almost 10 years. It feels so good to give back to the community. We’ve been very blessed and it’s nice to share that with others. Please pick an angel. You never know when you may be the ones needing the help.
