Any guesses? Trix’s Triple Cherry is the best. Unfortunately it only comes mixed in a pack with another flavor and Wildberry Blue is not that great. And not to leave anyone hanging, the answer is “a hunny bunny.”

I love that this yellow sign is on the bulletin board in the office of my mechanic. Generally, having to go to a mechanic can be a nerve wracking experience. What’s wrong with my car? How much is it going to cost? Will this be the thing that pushes it over the edge into the land of no repair? Thankfully, I was only there this morning for an inspection. Which, yes, I was worried about, but I passed. And I was comforted by this great sign.

Driving home the sky was a crazy combination of a variety of colors. I guess off in one direction the rain clouds were clearing as the sun was setting. In a different direction it was still storming and lightning could be seen off in the distance. Then in the middle it was still raining. Crazy.

Ron and I went with his parents to eat at Pope’s Creek earlier this weekend. I hadn’t been in a long time, but it was nice to sit by the water and eat while boats went in and out. It’s kind of like going to the beach without having to actually go there.

I started a new book recently. I’m hooked on Kristin Hannah lately. I started with Firefly Lane and then moved on to True Colors before starting this one. I liked the other two so I hope I like this one as well.

Ron made dinner tonight. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans and rolls. It was good. I hadn’t had meatloaf in a while. I think I’ll keep him 🙂

I pass this sign everyday on the way to and from work. It’s pretty clever and I like the clever church signs. Because really, shouldn’t a church’s sign be more than just an advertisement for the church? It offers such an easy, low cost, no fuss way to provide a thought provoking message. Don’t you think that would bring more people to God (which should be a church’s ultimate goal) than just posting hours of operation?

Vacation planning is underway. At first, we were pretty settled on Siesta Key. Then, because it’s located on the gulf I thought maybe it wasn’t the best idea to plan a vacation there during hurricane season. Now, I’m leaning towards the Keys. That was until Ron suggested a cruise. After looking at what’s offered during September, it seems we could pay a ton to go on Royal Carribean’s Allure of the Seas, otherwise known as the Mack Daddy of cruise ships. Or, we could pay a cheaper rate and have a nicer room on Carnival which we have experience with. For now we’re undecided, but I definitely want to go somewhere with warm temperatures, palm trees, blue water and lots of sun. You only celebrate your first anniversary once.
